Matin Moharami

Backend Software Engineer who thinks about products, not just endpoints. I build systems where correctness, observability, and operational integrity actually matter to the people using them.

I care as much about why we're building something as how it's built.

My work centers on reliable backend architecture — pragmatic, battle-tested solutions over over-engineering. Before writing code, I try to understand the product problem underneath it: who's affected, what trade-offs matter, and what "done" actually looks like. That's shaped everything from general-purpose APIs to transaction-processing infrastructure for a crypto exchange.

I rely on structured, algorithmic thinking to manage complexity — whether that means designing event-driven reconciliation across services or leveraging AI agents to automate code review and deployment workflows.

WHAT I SOLVE

High-throughput Systems

Idempotent execution, async pipelines, latency reduction at scale

Product-Minded Engineering

Translating fuzzy requirements into scoped, shippable technical solutions

Reliability & Observability

Monitoring, tracing, and consistency checks that catch problems before users do

Cross-functional Collaboration

Working closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship the right thing
